72 million people (1 in 100) cannot talk and need a communication tool. These people can hardly express themselves and often do not understand what causes a lot of frustration for themselves but also for their environment.
Existing communication tools are expensive, rigid and do not sufficiently meet the (changing) need of users.
It started with Tim. Tim is intellectually limited and can not speak. He is dependent on an expensive voice computer (costs 13,000 euros) to communicate with his environment. When Tim got a new supervisor Eline it took 4 weeks before her name was entered into the speech computer!
