The first prize went to Hack the Planet. How to use 3D-printing and robotics technology for a better world? Hack the Planet developed a cool concept GroundHawq and won the first prize of €30,000. Learn more about this innovative concept here.
Saferails received the student prize of € 10,000. The students developed a solution, so you will not get stuck with your bicycle stuck in tram rails. All the details about their project can be found here.
Startup Toogethr received the public award of € 5,000. They developed an innovative solution to reduce commuter traffic: an app that makes carpooling with your colleagues easy and profitable. Read more about this cool project here.
The Hague Innovators Challenge is an initiative of the City of The Hague and aims to encourage startups, organizations and students to present new ideas on current global challenges. The selected companies were selected from over 70 applicants.
